Nora Abdelwahab

I graduated from Eman Schools in 2014 and continued to pursue my education in Biology in the Purdue School of Science at IUPUI. I am now in the process of transitioning from an undergraduate to attending graduate school. InshaAllah I am hoping to earn a master’s degree in education. Growing up, I have attended public school as a young child and however I have also attended an Islamic school, and I believe having this experience and growing up in the US will allow me to connect with your children in a positive manner to further strengthen their Identify as a Muslim growing up in the US.

I love exploring the outdoors while making sure to hit all the coffee and chocolate shops that come my way! Community service has been a key aspect of my life growing up and has provided me multiple learning opportunities. Throughout the years I have been very involved in the Indianapolis Community and through my service I have come to believe that my passion is to give a voice to the underrepresented populations by using education as a tool to enlighten and empower these groups.
