About

For six years, Dr. Sara served as an associate professor of English at the Teacher’s Training College (ENSL) in Laghouat, Algeria, and spent an additional three years at Ammar Thelidji University. Currently, she is an Adjunct Faculty member at Indiana University, teaching ACP ENG W131 at Legacy Learning Center. In the past two years, she has also taught AP English Language and Composition, AP US Government and Politics, and AP Microeconomics at the same institution. 

Dr. Sara has authored numerous articles on cognitive poetics and multicultural education, focusing on the impact of a cognitive-linguistics approach to teaching literature in diverse settings. As a multilingual educator fluent in English, Arabic, and French, she excels in experimenting with innovative teaching methods and techniques. Her expertise extends to online instruction, having earned her online certificate through Canvas and teaching PSAT/SAT prep courses via Tutor Cruncher and other platforms.

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Sara is deeply committed to her community, particularly within faith-based schools, embodying her personal dedication to her values and the well-being of the students and families she serves. She believes that teaching transcends the mere transmission of knowledge; it is a profound act of service and a vital means of fostering the spiritual and moral growth of future generations.
